MyspaceIM Web Chat

I've been spending a little bit of that spare time on a couple of pet projects of mine. One of those pet projects is UnofficialMySpaceIM.com which according to Techcrunch (06/18/2008) is a dead simple web based alternative to the crappy (my opinion, not techcrunch's) windows only official MyspaceIM client (Nothing new and innovative has come out of Myspace in the last 2+ years since MyspaceIM while Facebook has added many new features and Facebook user base is growing steadily. I see Myspace ending the way Geocities did).

The traffic to unofficialmyspaceim.com so far has been nothing spectacular. It's not bad though for a site that took a few days worth of time over several weeks to build and the application itself (the present revision as of this writing) does simply basic IM and presence, and optionally allows you to log in to your AIM account. Nothing terribly interesting.

I do see a growing trend in traffic, and although it may be too soon to say if that small uptick means anything, I can think of a few interesting revisions that I can make so let's see how far I can take this product.
